About Christy Wissink
Christy Wissink, LIMHP, is a compassionate and experienced therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, grief and loss, compassion fatigue, self-care, boundaries, cross-cultural transitions, and other significant life stressors and transitions. Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing can come for the whole person, mind, body, and soul.

Christy holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is Level One trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a transformative, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals understand and heal their inner world. She is passionate about helping clients build awareness of their internal “parts,” and guides them toward deeper self-compassion, balance, and connection.

Inspired by the words of IFS founder Richard Schwartz—“IFS is a loving way of relating internally (to your parts) and externally (to the people in your life)… a life practice.” Christy integrates IFS as both a therapeutic tool and a daily practice that clients can carry into their lives outside of the therapy room.

Her goal is to provide a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their stories, develop new coping skills, and create meaningful change. Christy believes that even in seasons of struggle, there is always the potential to rewrite your path with hope, healing, and renewed direction.
"I enjoy helping people grow toward inner transformation beyond coping with their every day symptoms."
