About Tanajah Everett

I’m a counseling graduate student, at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, with a bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology. I’m passionate about supporting individuals through a person-centered, collaborative approach that honors each client’s unique journey.

My clinical experience includes working in both inpatient and school settings, where I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across the lifespan. These experiences have deepened my belief in the power of empathy, connection, and meeting clients where they are.

In our work together, I may draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral strategies, and narrative therapy, tailoring my approach to your specific needs and goals. While I use these evidence-based tools, I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a person-centered relationship an with openness to to explore new things. You are the driver in this process—I’m here as a supportive passenger, helping navigate the road toward your growth and healing.

“I believe therapy can be fun and engaging laughter, creativity, and moments of lightness are all part of the process. I’m committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to move forward on your terms. I look forward to getting to know you."
